This photograph was taken at a training session at one of Mr Kuon's private classes probably in 1973 or 1974. Mr Kuon's classes were very popular during his 4 year spell in Norwich and there were literally hundreds of students attending his classes all over the Norwich area. National black belt gradings were also often held in Norwich by Mr Kuon but the numbers were very low in those days. This is a photograph of Master Jervis in 1985 visiting Mr Kuon at his home in South Korea. He had just been put through his paces in Mr Kuon's front garden.

Mr Kuon's house was just up the road from the school he attended as a child and I took this photograph of him as he insisted on introducing me to his old headmaster who was still teaching there.
